Setting up blog site like this “webhostingwinner” Blog is not hard. You can do it manually or automatically form cpanel. For automated blog setup, login to your cpanel, and go to fantastico, the blue smiley icon. then start the installation for the blog. Remember that you will need to create a mysql database for both setup method, and grant a user read/write to that database.
Because i always customised my blog site, so i will more prefer to install blog from bottom up and manually. Here is how the manually 5 minutes setup should look like:
- Download the wordpress script, unzip.
- Ftp login to lunarpages, and upload the scripts to lunarpages server
- Create mysql database
- change the wp-config.php, insert in the database name and login information. Do this carefully, else will be many problem later on.
- Upload this wp-config.php to lunarpages server as well.
- Browse to the domain where the new blog is.
- Wordpress installer will start.
- Two setup pages, enter your blog name and your email and you are done.
